WHAT IS DTF?

DTF stands for DIRECT-to-FILM printing. DTF is a heat-transfer technique that involves printing a design onto film and then transferring it to fabric.  This method allows for any fabric and color to be used. However, unlike sublimation the design sits on top of the fabric, meaning the image can be felt on the shirt.

WHAT IS SUBLIMATION?

Sublimation shirt printing is a technique that transfers an ink-based image onto fabric using heat. Unlike traditional printing methods that sit on the fabrics surface, sublimation penetrates the fabric's fibers so that you cannot "feel" the image. Sublimation does require shirts to have a high percentage of polyester, and the shirts need to be light in color for the ink to appear.

To get the longest wear of your custom design, follow these steps for washing and drying:

Washing: Turn shirt inside out. Use cold or mild warm water. Do not bleach. Keep the washing cycle on delicate.  Drying: Hang dry or use low heat.
